New Balance Run House - London Marathon 2026
Patch Bar Customisation Experience
As part of New Balance Run House, a London Marathon 2026 weekend takeover at Somerset House, we delivered a high-volume live customisation activation for runners and supporters.
Working inside the customisation workshop, we created a fast-paced patch bar experience where guests could personalise official New Balance running tees in real time.
The Experience
Guests were invited to get creative and design their own running tees using a wide range of embroidered patches and lettering systems.
The patch library included:
50+ New Balance logos, graphics, and running club artworks
A British Sign Language (BSL) alphabet set
A custom New Balance typography alphabet
Guests could mix and match any combination of patches and letters to create fully personalised designs.
Live Patch Bar Activation
Once their design was complete, guests moved to the press station where our team heat-pressed each garment on-site within seconds.
The experience was designed for speed and scale, ensuring a continuous flow of runners and supporters throughout the weekend while maintaining a high level of personalisation and quality.
High-Volume Production
Across the London Marathon weekend, we delivered a non-stop activation with constant queues and high engagement from attendees.
In total, over 4,000+ patches were applied to custom tees, making it one of the busiest and most high-throughput activations within the Run House experience.
The Result
A fast-moving, high-energy customisation station that blended sport, creativity, and personal expression - giving runners and supporters a unique takeaway from the London Marathon weekend at Somerset House.
