Patch Bar & DTF Customisation Experience

As part of New Balance Market, a takeover at The Vinyl Factory in London, we delivered a high-volume live customisation activation for shoppers and running club members.

Working inside the retail space, we created a fast-paced customisation bar where guests could personalise their running gear in real time using both DTF stickers and woven patches.

The Experience

Guests were invited to customise their own running gear - t-shirts, socks, and bandanas - using a range of heat-pressed DTF stickers.

Alongside individual garment customisation, we also ran a community element: woven patches representing London running clubs were pressed onto a patchwork banner created especially for the event, giving guests and clubs a collective piece to be part of.

Live Customisation Activation

Once guests picked their design, our team heat-pressed each piece on-site within seconds, keeping a steady flow of shoppers moving through the space.

The experience was designed for speed and scale, ensuring guests received their personalised gear on the spot while maintaining a high level of quality and finish.

High-Volume Production

Across the event, our team ran a full 12 hours of continuous heat pressing, meeting sustained demand from shoppers and running club members throughout the day.

Demand was so strong that stock sold out completely, with guests customising everything available before the event's close.

The Result

A fast-moving, high-energy customisation station that blended retail, community, and personal expression - giving New Balance shoppers a unique, on-the-spot takeaway from the Vinyl Factory activation, while running clubs left their mark together on a shared community banner.
